When comes time to do the restoration of governmental or historical buildings the first thing that
comes to mind is to use durable timeless materials. Natural stone is the perfect choice.
Les Carrieres Ducharme extract stones in an area where some governmental buildings were built like the Havelock town hall built in 1868. Arround 1990 we supplied stone for an addition to the Havelock town hall and you can hardly tell the difference between the new and the old stone.
Our knowledge and experience in restoration can be seen on buildings such as; the Ottawa Parliament, Fort Chambly, Forth Henry (Kingston), multiple locks in the Rideau Canal, Chateau Frontenac, just to name a few.
Projects like these arent rocket science for Les Carrieres Ducharme
